Definition
Build a relationship. Often this will require you to suck up and play to a person’s ego. Make them believe that you are interested in them, that they are intelligent and that you respect what they are saying. Sucking up is a requirement with your boss, sometimes necessary to keep the peace with your peers, and never required with those who report to you
