Definition

Those individuals in an organization that have all the company and employee secrets. The department that is supposed to keep the interests of the employee foremost. The people that you never tell the trust to, as they will save the information, share it with other Human Resource folks and eventually use the information against you.

Examples

A representative from Human Resources stopped by yesterday and asked how things were going. When they pulled out their pad to take notes, I clammed up, knowing full well that whatever I said would be written down, scrutinized and probably shared with my boss. Talk about a dangerous encounter. It was like being in the tall weeds with a lion. All I could think about was escaping from my cubicle and hiding in the bathroom.
